Alpine Cruising

The speed of our open RIB boat opens up views of waterside villages and precipitous cliffs climbing into the sky at 3000 feet, where the glacial erosion gives way to sculpted mountainsides and dramatic waterfalls. This is “alpine cruising” at its finest.

Travelling up the deep fjord surrounded by towering mountains on every side is an adventure you will never forget.

  • Definitely recommended
A very cool experience, out of the ordinary. The trip takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, where you cross the fjord at a speed of around 35 knots. You are able to admire islands, steep fjords and majestic views during the trip, especially if you are lucky with the weather. The boat driver was a truly nice and competent guy, he took care of our safety, told about nature and local history as well as stopped at spots where it was possible to take great pictures. All in all, it was a great balance between a little excitement, great views and relaxation.

  • The highlight of our holiday
My partner and I had the most lovely time; the sights were some of the most beautiful we’ve seen and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Although we do not speak Norwegian, the tour guide was kind enough to translate all the information to us personally. The seafari contained not only some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve encountered in Europe, or indeed anywhere, but was a really fun and friendly experience. It was definitely the highlight of our trip.

  • Highly recommended!
If you are looking for an ultimate fjord experience this is for you. Professional staff, modern boat – and all the wet weather gear you will need.

The boat sits max 10 guests – just book via the website.

We had 2 children with us 13 and 11 – both had a great time! Well worth 2 hours of your day.

  • Amazing experience!
Our AirBnB host introduced us to Hallvard who agreed to take us out despite not having a big group together and the weather rather being modest (=rainy). It was absolutely amazing regardless and Hallvard is simply a great guy and guide! If you are in the area take a ride with him, you won’t regret it!

  • A fascinating experience
This was a fascinating experience. Boat ride was conducted in a very professional manner and gave me a life time experience. Hallvard Bjorgum was very supportive in exploring the rest of the area and his team was very well organised.
